No Covid Here!

I've taken down the last post.  I don't want to get into any discussions about Covid and found myself getting over anxious about answering comments because to disagree with them can come over entirely the wrong way in print.  So from here on in this will be a Covid free zone!!

For anyone who didn't see the post, I also mentioned the cream John Gray found so good for his psoriasis.  It's called udder cream (for cattle!) and after reading all the comments on his post about how good it is for various things I bought some on Amazon and it's entirely marvelous stuff!  My knee is already much better and I only got the tub yesterday morning.  I'd been thinking of getting some hydrocortisone for my knee as it was becoming very itchy and as you may know, hydrocortisone isn't the kindest thing for skin.  So this came along at exactly the right moment for me to try it out and it's ticking the boxes so far!  I look forward to trying it on my poor dry hands in the winter once we put the heating on again, I always get very dry itchy hands when the heating goes on and when it's very cold.  Apparently this cream is excellent for that too.   I hope so! x

    You are allowed to your own opinion, especially on your own blog. I wouldn't want to hang out with people who had been exposed to covid either.

    I'd avoid anyone exposed to covid too. Glad the udder cream is working well!

      Everyone has now come up with an excuse not to attend that day so I think that says it all. I'm glad I'd already bowed out! The udder cream is working a charm on my knees! x

    Your blog, your voice - but I understand that sometimes it just doesn't feel worth it to argue with people over covid. Damn I've argued with my family about Brexit and covid and it's just better to agree to disagree in the end. And well done on that cream. I saw John's post about it - thought it looked like clotted cream!

      I just can't face argueing about covid any more. I think things can very easily be miscontrued on blogs etc as I believe you and I have already experienced!! It's not worth the hassle. The cream I got is very thick, not unlike clotted cream, however it sure doesn't smell like clotted cream!! It's not unpleasant but is quite clinical but as long as its working I'm happy to use it.

    I had plans when I was on vacation and got sick - I cancelled because I felt like crap, BUT if I hadn't felt like crap I had also done a rapid covid test (which was negative anyway) In this day and age you cannot be too careful anymore. Hope the cream keeps doing the job!! !

      The lady in question contacted us today to tell us she has now tested positive and feels very ill. Thank goodness everyone eventually cancelled! The cream is still doing a great job thanks and yes, you're right at the moment you cannot be too careful.

I hate it when bloggers just disappear!  I'm aware I am guilty of this so I'm here to say thanks for listening to my tales and for all the lovely comments but I no longer feel the need to let the world know my comings and goings.  To be honest I've even stopped reading most blogs now too hence the lack of comments from me.  I've taken more to watching You Tube if and when I have time.  In summer I always spend less time on the computer as I have too much to do in the garden etc  but I don't foresee myself coming back to blogging this time.  I've come and gone too often now and although we should never say never, I think this is it. We've been to Australia to visit with my son, his partner and their dog and we had a wonderful time.  Now, 3 weeks since we came home, it feels like it never even happened! LIfe Goes On.

And so it continues - Covid has made its way to my family now.  My daughter has tested positive today.  Of course, sods law, she was the one who dropped her dog at our house this morning.  Normally her husband does it but she said the dog wasn't going to let her leave the house without him so she left early enough to drop him off with us.  Fortunately she's wasn't in for long and kept fairly distant from us but still...   She tested herself when she went home at lunchtime to check on her daughter who has tonsilitis.  At work she'd felt a bit ropey and thought a test would probably come up negative however that's her grounded now for the duration and I only hope she gets a mild version of it and that no-one else gets it from her!  Her hubby picked the dog up early this afternoon wearing a mask while waiting outside.  I daresay it will be this way for a week or so now.  Well, we're plastered!  It's looking good.  As I sit here typing this hubby is at my door vaccuming some of the dust.  He's been going round smoothing off the bits that stuck where they weren't supposed to be and I've just watched him lol.  I feel I've hit a bit of a brick wall today.  I think we were so busy preparing for this and today is the first day I've really stopped and it's hit me and I feel exhausted!  I think hubby must run on Duracell batteries - clearly my batteries are cheap and nasty ones! While the plasterer was here we were 'trapped' outside the dining room which is effectively the middle of the house.  We call it the dining room but its the main room in the house - almost like a dining kitchen would be as the kitchen is off the dining room and the living room is off the dining room but we use the dining room most of the time, its where everyone congregates so it was awkward not having it in use.  Fortunately we can get out ...
